Drake announces a reunion of the Young Money for the October World Weekend.

On Tuesday (July 12), Drizzy hinted that he would be making a "major announcement" on Wednesday (July 13), and he delivered on his word by announcing the festival's star-studded lineup.

Starting on July 28, The All Canadian Northstars will perform as the opening act. Chris Brown and Lil Baby will then take the stage on July 29, and Drake himself will close things out on August 1 with a historic Young Money reunion performance.

Consequently, it is possible that Drake, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj will perform together for the first time in a long time.

Drizzy posted on Instagram, "OCTOBER WORLD WEEKEND." We obviously wanted to crank the city up for the summer, but I'm currently working on taking OVO FEST throughout the world in 2023 for the 10th anniversary. There will be more event announcements. On Friday, tickets go on sale via @ticketmaster.

After the music mogul made a surprise visit at British rapper Dave's concert at Drake's Toronto venue History back in May, the rapper previously said that he has intentions to bring OVOFest back this summer. Drake performed "Knife Talk" and then thanked the audience before announcing the return of OVOFest.

"With all of my heart, I love you. I'll see you at OVOFest soon since they let the city reopen, he stated at the time.

These past few months have been tremendously hectic for Drake. The OVO head honcho has been busy releasing music videos since releasing his surprise dance album Honestly, Nevermind in June as fan favorites like "Massive" and "Sticky" start to take over summer radio. Drake thanked his fans for tuned in to the new album during his initial announcement teaser on Tuesday.

During a live broadcast on the gaming website Stake, he added, "I appreciate everyone listening to the new music. "Taking on a task I've been wanting to complete for a while. I value all the affection.

It means a lot to me that after all these years, people are still tuning in and expressing a lot of love to, you know, strange crap, he continued. But now I'm back to being insane. I'm merely informing you at this time. I'm currently in a different bag. I swear to you. Scary.”

On Monday, July 11, Drake continued his streak of good luck at the casino by winning about $25 million while playing roulette.

The OVO hitmaker collaborated with online casino Stake for his second Twitch livestream, during which he played a virtual roulette game and gave away $1 million to lucky fans.

French Montana, a special visitor, accompanied Drake (also known as "Deep Pockets") during the virtual event as he saw the Toronto native win $12.96 million and $11.95 million on separate bets - both on the same number.
