How a rainbow flashed over Buckingham Palace just before Queen Elizabeth II was declared dead

Pictures that have surfaced online depict how, just before Queen Elizabeth II's demise was announced, a double rainbow peaked through the clouds over Buckingham Palace.

Before the Queen's death was formally announced by Buckingham Palace, claims that she was receiving medical care at Balmoral after her personal doctors expressed concern for her health had gone viral online.

When the rainbows appeared, there were crowds gathered outside the royal home in London amid worries for the monarch's wellbeing.

Some of the queen's followers have hypothesized that the rainbows represent heaven's joy at receiving the queen because she lived a purposeful and saintly life.

Perhaps the skies themselves wanted to commemorate the late, extraordinary queen's demise.
