Ghana will just be a complete waste of time at the World Cup. Okocha Jay-Jay

Ghana's chances in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, according to ex-Nigeria superstar Jay-Jay Okocha, are poor, and the team will struggle.

The former Super Eagles captain claims he is not optimistic about the Black Stars' chances at the World Cup and feels it would be a waste of time to participate.

Jay-Jay Okocha stated the following to Cartonsport.com:

"This is the first time I don't think Africa has a good chance at the World Cup," "If you compare us to Asia and North America, they appear to be more powerful and developed.

"North America and Asia seem to be ahead of us now, and we were already 50 paces behind South America and Europe."

"Senegal and Morocco seem to hold the most promise for us. Ghana, Tunisia, and According to him, Cameroon "seems to be a stepping stone for other teams to get to the knockout stages.

In three World Cups—the 1994, 1998, and 2002 competitions—Okocha played for Nigeria.

Following their absence from the 2018 edition in Russia, Ghana will play Portugal in their opening game in Group H on November 24. Ghana is participating once more.

The Black Stars' upcoming group matches are on November 28 against South Korea and December 2 against Uruguay.
