Ghana will mark the National Day of Prayer and Fasting for Black Stars ahead of the World Cup.


A national day of prayer and fasting will be observed in Ghana for the Black Stars. 

As part of a series of events leading up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, this was announced by the Ghana Football Association today. 

The National Day of Prayer and Fasting by Ghanaians is one of these activities, which aims to give the Black Stars spiritual support. 

The World Cup in Qatar starts on November 20, and according to the organizers, the team will need to be spiritually strengthened in order to participate. 

The pursuits consist of: 

Representative Ghana Jersey Day (Presidency) 

Representative Ghana Jersey Day (Public) 

National Day of Fasting and Prayer (Islam) 

National Day of Fasting and Prayer (Christianity) 

Walk With The Legends on National Team Day 

A Legends-Rich Dinner
