A middle-aged guy who had supposedly been imprisoned in a chamber for twenty years was liberated by environmental officers in the Nigerian state of Kaduna.
According to the local newspaper Nigerian Tribune, the man was discovered by the police on October 12 in a home on Benin Street, in the city's center.
An anonymous representative stated they were astonished by the discovery.
He explained, "Today we visited to this home in search of beverages that were typically kept in residential homes without adequate storage facilities when we spotted a naked man locked up in a room.
He was in an uncomfortable posture, as we discovered. It was intolerable to smell the room's odor. Later, we entered the room illegally and removed him. He was acting in a wild manner. We then discovered that he had been held in the room for 20 years.
"We also learned that he had been fed in the space. He uses the same room to urinate and defecate.
Later, he said, "the Magaji Gari police in the center of Kaduna Central area were invited and they took him away."
